Refund Policy

At Scholars’ Cabin, we are committed to providing high-quality academic tutoring, test preparation, and college planning services. Our refund policy reflects the personalized nature of these offerings and the time and planning involved.

Academic Tutoring & Test Preparation

All purchases for academic tutoring and test prep services (including SAT, ACT, and other subject-based instruction) are non-refundable, whether booked individually or in session bundles.

Clients may reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to tutor availability. Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of that session and incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one hour of service.

College Planning Services

Refunds are available for college planning services under the following conditions:

1. Full Refunds
Clients may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided that no college planning sessions have been delivered.

​

2. Partial Refunds
Refunds requested within 14 days of the first session may be eligible for a partial refund, minus a 15% administrative fee. Any completed sessions will be deducted from the refund at the standard hourly rate.

3. Non-Refundable Services
After the 14-day window or once more than two sessions have been delivered, the purchase becomes non-refundable.

4. Expiration Policy
College planning hours must be used within 12 months of the purchase date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5. Rescheduling & Missed Appointments
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of that session and incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one hour of service.

6. Special Circumstances
If extenuating circumstances arise, refund requests may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
